OUR LEVEL SYSTEM...
The level system accomplishes two main goals. The first is to provide a career path of growth and achievement for our team. The second is to provide several options for the various needs of you, our guest. Guest may choose the level that best suits their needs, and their budget. The designer’s level of competency or creativity is not necessarily related to the years of experience he or she has. This is a common misconception. The training our team receives is aggressive, consistent, innovative and in-depth. It starts from the moment they are hired and continues through their entire career with us. At The Hair Company our service providers achieve promotions based on several factors. These factors include guest satisfaction, retention, performance, education, and demand on their time. The Hair Company takes great pride in the ability to offer you the best stylist in the area. This does not happen by accident!
We work very hard to hire the most trainable team and to provide them with the best education on a ongoing & regular basis. We want only those that look as this as a ‘career’ and not just a ‘job’. In order for this to happen, we must offer better benefits, training systems, working atmosphere and compensation than they can get elsewhere. We care about our staff, and want them to grow and prosper.
We feel that you are a guest of The Hair Company, not one particular service provider. Our entire staff works together as a team and welcome you to visit other service providers. Perhaps your regular service provider isn’t available. Maybe you typically see a level 4 or 5 stylist, and you‘re saving for a vacation, so you choose to visit a Level 1 stylist this visit (or every visit thereafter) so you can put the money you saved towards your vacation. Maybe you just want a fresh point of view. No matter what your reason, it is a personal choice. We just want you to be happy, and get the best value for your time & money. Regardless of who you choose to visit, we are happy to share information with our fellow teammates, and make sure that you have the best we can offer.
The ultimate promotion is when you become an ‘Educator’ (Level 4A). At this point, the ‘Educator’ takes an ‘Associate’ under their wing. This enables them to pass on their knowledge, training our next generation of Rock Star service providers.
